Making Fiends

Making Fiends is a short-lived Nicktoon that initally started out as a Flash cartoon in 2004. Some time after the show's inception, a Nickelodeon exec noticed that his daughter was watching the show online, saw potential, and contacted Amy Winfrey and her team to turn it into a TV show. While it was dumped onto Nick's sister channel Nicktoons Network, it seemed to have a promising rise in popularity for a good while. Unfortunately the show was canned after one season by Cyma Zarghami, Nick's CEO at the time, and they retained most if not all of the rights (thankfully Mrs. Winfrey is still able to sell Making Fiends merch on Shopify).

The show follows a cartoonishly villainous little green girl named Vendetta, who (for reasons unknown) is threatened by a chipper little blue girl named Charlotte who insists on being her friend. Every episode is about Vendetta's attempts to destroy Charlotte, which always end up being comedically foiled in the classic "coyote and roadrunner" way. Best case scenario, Vendetta can at least still cause some chaos and terrorize the other citizens of her town Clamburg. She does this by literally "making" fiends by mixing them up with a bowl and spatula, cooking them in an oven, using a blender, etc. - any method generally associated with cooking food (one of the show's most famous episodes is literally about food lol).
